Account and Data Deletion Request
At InvestorSaathi, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal information.
You may request the permanent deletion of your InvestorSaathi account and associated personal data at any time.
How to Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your account, please send an email with the details below:
Please include the following information in your request:
- Full Name
- Registered Mobile Number
- Registered Email Address
- Client Code (if applicable)
- Reason for deletion (optional)
Our support team may contact you to verify your identity before processing your request.
What Will Be Deleted
After successful verification, InvestorSaathi will permanently delete:
- InvestorSaathi user account
- Profile information stored by InvestorSaathi
- App preferences and settings
- Watchlists created within InvestorSaathi
- Notification preferences
- Device tokens used for push notifications
- Cached portfolio and market data stored by InvestorSaathi
- Session and authentication tokens
- Customer support conversations (where legally permitted)
What May Be Retained
Certain information cannot be deleted immediately because it is required by applicable laws, SEBI regulations, exchange regulations, taxation requirements, fraud prevention obligations, or our broker partners.
This may include:
- Trading records
- Order history
- Contract notes
- Ledger records
- KYC information
- Regulatory audit logs
- Financial transaction records
- Records maintained by the registered stock broker
- Information required for legal compliance or dispute resolution
Such information is retained only for the period required by applicable laws and regulations.
Broker Account Notice
InvestorSaathi is a technology platform. Trading accounts are opened and maintained by the registered stock broker.
Deleting your InvestorSaathi account does not automatically close your trading account maintained by the broker.
If you wish to close your trading account, you must separately contact the registered broker and follow their account closure process.
Processing Time
Most verified deletion requests are completed within 7 business days.
Where legal or regulatory obligations require retention of certain records, those records will be securely retained only for the required period.
